Founder’s Notes
Hi there, my name is Andrew Taylor. I grew up in the small town of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, and like many, I spent some time living and working away in different parts of Canada. Eventually, I returned to my true home base—St. John’s, Newfoundland—where I now focus on helping property owners and showcasing the beauty of our province to visitors from around the world.
I’ve always been passionate about real estate and rental opportunities. I enjoy brainstorming with like-minded entrepreneurs, and I love the idea of turning properties into successful, stress-free investments. That passion is what led me to create Home Base NL.
Today, I work with homeowners across the province to manage their rental properties and welcome guests into their homes. In addition to managing for others, I also own and operate my own rental properties in Newfoundland. This experience—as both a property owner and a former tenant—gives me a unique perspective on what makes property management successful. I understand firsthand how important it is to maximize returns, avoid unnecessary headaches, and create a positive experience for both owners and tenants.
